Scope

- Development and promotion of Hellenic and Roman studies

 

Main objectives of the journal:

1. Publication of original research papers, reviews, translations;

The Journal features the following rubrics: new and original research papers (papers), book reviews (reviews), translations of scholarly articles and literary contributions (translations).

2. Dissemination of information on cutting-edge developments in the field;

The separate rubric (Varia) explores innovative scholarly projects, activities and significant events etc.

3. Regular publication of substantive scholarly pieces of high value and reliability;

The journal is peer-reviewed, delivered printed and electronically on a regular yearly basis in Georgian (summary in English). Submissions (see : Guide for Authors ) are published upon reccomendation of 2 independent referees (see: Evaluation criteria).

4. Access to materials published in the journal;

The journal is uploaded on the website, which is located on the web portal of the Ivane Javakhishvili Tbilisi State University and is freely available online.
